Radiologists and mammographers may need to review two earlier exams to read the new mammography exam correctly. CAD PRO Advantage offers unique spatial and contrast resolution so radiologists can be confident that the image from the film digitizer is an exact copy of the original image. Thanks to VIDAR's Automatic Digitizer Calibrator (ADC), calibration occurs automatically before digitizing a new film, without requiring user intervention to maintain image quality. CAD PRO Advantage's rigorous self-regulating quality control system ensures that the digitizing subsystem meets all FDA (Food and Drug Administration) mammographic image quality (MQSA) requirements. This combination of different technologies provides superior grayscale rendering in every image.

The CAD PRO Advantage includes a 50-sheet modular automatic film feeder, an innovative design that prevents film jams, double-sheet insertion, and other film pick-up problems common in other digitizers. More specifically, the CAD PRO Auto Film Feeder has been designed to allow continuous loading of examinations, allowing the user to add examinations without interrupting the digitizing process. The CAD PRO Advantage can digitize examinations from four films in 93 seconds, which is 30% faster than previous versions and significantly increases productivity. The reliability of the unit is guaranteed by the LED lighting lamp, which improves the stability and durability of the unit while reducing overall maintenance costs. The modular design of CAD PRO makes it easy to access the unit for cleaning and service, or to change the light source, thus reducing equipment downtime.
